Danny DeVito often serves as a sidekick or co-star alongside Willem Dafoe in many of Jim's film pitches. While Jim's impersonation of the two is frighteningly similar, it is noted that DeVito is often defined by his signature phrase, "I'm joikin' off!" or other variants of the term.
DeVito is occasionally cast as an adversary to Dafoe's protangonist in these film pitches. In A Horse Named Keanu, DeVito is the rival farmer to Dafoe's character, Farmer Animals. However, DeVito is not one to be typecast, and has appeared in the opposite situation, serving as a friend and true ally to Dafoe's characters in films like Double Brothers.
